Gentian Barricade is a liqueur that follows the same process as traditional gentian. Gentian roots are left to steep in wine for forty days, after which sugar and alcohol are added.
At this point aging in oak takes place. This step allows our liquor to acquire a specific taste: the wood yields aromatic compounds increasing the aromatic and chromatic intensity of the drink, making it even more valuable.
